My name is Alexa Lares, I’m a recent graduate from New Mexico State University with a Bachelors in 2D Animation and Visual Effects, and a minor in Digital Film Making. 

I am a Hispanic generalist with a main focus primarily in Character Design and Animation. I enjoy working and experimenting in multiple mediums, I also enjoy on doing some sewing work on the side. During my free time, I like to spend time with my loved ones, bake home goods, scrapbook, and catch up on my favorite shows. 

Throughout my life, I have always been inspired by works of Guillermo Del Toro and Jorge Gutierrez. Their works of storytelling are wonderfully crafted and the use of dark topics are beautifully blended into their styles. I like to explore more of my works using the passions I developed and blend them with elements of fantastical horror to create unique stories.
